A time to paint ...

​​​Are you missing your regular club meeting with fellow artists and looking for inspiration and 'online companionship' to inspire and energise your creative talents? Then look no further. 

This site has been created for Ballymena VisArt members as we have had our much enjoyed Wednesday morning meetings curtailed thanks to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Three main areas have been set up- a Keep in Touch Blog, Activities, Monthly Challenges and a Gallery. In the Blog page you will find up to date news along with challenges or ideas set for each month. We would like members to have a go and then email their paintings for inclusion in the Gallery. Our paintings and work deserve an audience and if we can't get it on a Wednesday morning ... then we can get our virtual showcase here.  ​

​The activities page has ideas and activities which you might like to pick and choose from.
Don't forget to follow us on our main Ballymena Vis Art website and blogg to fin out all ablout us and for all the latest news.
Take one of our challenges and then send us  a copy of your masterpiece and we will upload it to our virtual gallery for all to enjoy.  Dare I say - virtually socialise!

​Let us know what you're up to.You may not be in the mood for a 'big painting challenge' but have decided to improve your drawing skills, still life, small activities such as notelets / cards or you may have said enough is enough to the paint and I'm doing - knitting, yoga, crafts, gardening, baking  ..... who knows!!

Whatever is floating your boat and keeping you sane we'd like to know. Send a few lines with or without photo and let us all know.
